To connect neurodivergent minds with compassion and respect, creating a trusted space for authentic relationships and empowering social growth.

Founder Story

My name is Kimberly (most people call me Kim) and I am the proud founder of NeuroMinds Connect. As someone who grew up as an Air Force brat and now currently serving in the United States Air Force for over 20+ years, discipline, adaptability, and a strong sense of community have always shaped who I am. With that in mind, the thread that’s been woven through every season of my life—whether personal, professional, or parental—is connection.

I have two incredible children, Kaila and Jaiden, who continue to inspire my commitment to compassion, understanding, and creating a better world for all minds. With a Bachelor of Science in Social Science and a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), I’ve spent a lot of time supporting individuals across a wide developmental spectrum—from toddlers as young as three to adults in their forties—many of whom live with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other cognitive and developmental differences.

Throughout my work, I’ve seen the beauty, depth, and uniqueness each person brings into this world. But I’ve also witnessed how challenging it can be for neurodivergent individuals to find meaningful relationships, understanding companionship, and spaces where they are fully seen and accepted.
The spark for NeuroMinds Connect came while watching the show “Love on the Spectrum” on Netflix. I was immediately moved—not just by the stories of those searching for love, but by the reminder that every mind deserves connection. That simple truth became the heartbeat of this project.
NeuroMinds Connect was born out of that vision: a safe, affirming space where neurodiverse individuals can connect, build relationships, and explore companionship without judgment. Whether it’s love, friendship, or simply feeling understood, our mission is to make meaningful connections accessible to every unique mind.
